Katie Ridley

Katie Emma Ridley was born at 8:18am on Tuesday 18th January 2005 at Worthing Hospital, 2 weeks early weighing 5lb 13oz.

Katie began gymnastics at 4 years old at a local club and progressed through general grades. In March 2013 Katie was invited to train 18 hours a week in The Women's Artistic Gymnastics Squad and in November 2013 came 1st place in The Sussex Championships level 5.

In December 2013 Katie joined Horsham Gymnastics Club that offer Women's Artistic Gymnastics to an International Level. In April 2014, Sadie Makinson (British Gymnastics WA International Peformance Coach) invited Katie to join her Elite Performance programme on the aim to achieve National and International level.

Katie trains with the Elite Performance Group in Horsham 23 hours a week; Mon - Wed 4pm - 8pm, Fri 9am - 12 and 4pm - 8pm and Sat 9am - 1pm.

How you can help

Sponsorships, Donations and Trust Funds

Would you like to be associated with the Elite sport of Gymnastics? We are looking for all levels of sponsorship, donations and Talent Grants to assist Katie in her quest to qualify and compete in the Nationals and eventually Internationally. Katie trains 23 hours a week in Horsham , that's a total of 480 miles every week. Funding from a Trust, Donations or even Sponsorship would be an amazing help towards the cost of training, equipment, competitions and travelling expenses.
